Proud to call South Australia home, April continues to seek niches where she can make significant impacts, fostering a vibrant community of innovators and entrepreneurs.
Working with April Hobbs on the Innovate Adelaide publication was an absolute delight. April's professionalism and deep commitment to showcasing the vibrant innovation ecosystem in Adelaide made the entire experience not only rewarding but truly inspiring. The Innovate Adelaide publication is a testament to the incredible ingenuity and spirit of our community, and it's been an honour to be featured among so many trailblazers and change-makers. April's work not only highlights individual achievements but effectively elevates the entire Adelaide innovation landscape, making it accessible and engaging for a global audience. Her dedication is evident on every page, and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. A huge thank you to April and the Innovations of the World team for their outstanding work and for including me in this significant project
Never underestimate April, I have learnt that when April says she is going to do something no matter how hard it is, it gets done and she makes it look easy.
I am now learning from April!
This is absolutely fantastic, it really does beautifully showcase the
innovative ecosystem that we now have in South Australia. I absolutely love this and I just know that so many South Australians and investors will be thumbing through this just seeing the incredible stories that are now unfolding here in Adelaide and more broadly across South Australia. As Premier I was always very keen to see us get a tech unicorn whether it be machine learning blockchain, defence, space, agtech – there are just so many opportunities. To have mission control for the Australian Space Agency right here on North Terrace is incredible. This book is quite frankly a fantastic menu of what's on offer in South Australia at the moment. There are so many fantastic stories April well done!
I founded my business in Adelaide, and I know there are just so many fantastic businesses, so just to be part of Innovate Adelaide and to be listed with those companies is quite a privilege. I started a company as a one-man band in the back shed and we’ve grown into a national and international firm. I’ve got nothing but good to say about Adelaide and its ability to promote innovation. The Innovate Adelaide event becomes a network – certainly, companies like SAGE can learn from others and I think that’s the best part of learning and sharing all the benefits that Adelaide has.
